블레이크는 대학시절 영화 스윙키즈(1993)를 보고 스윙댄스를 시작했습니다. 오랜 역사를 배경으로 세계 최고의 댄서와 강사들을 보유한 씬 중 하나인 남부 캘리포니아 환경에서 춤에 바로 빠져들 수 있었고 린디합, 발보아, 쉐그 댄서로 성장했습니다. 블레이크는 오리지널 댄서들을 좋아해 그들이 사용한 스타일과 기술을 가르치기 좋아합니다. 그는 연습, 대회, 공연 모두 좋아하지만, 파트너와 깊은 교감을 나누는 소셜을 가장 좋아합니다.

▶️ 그레이스
예술가 집안에서 자란 그레이스는 4살 때부터 공연을 했습니다. 재즈 음악과 빈티지 패션을 평생 동안 사랑해온 그녀는 2012년 첫 린디합 수업에서 그 매력에 빠지게 되었습니다. 그레이스는 일주일 내내 밤 늦게까지 남부 캘리포니아의 여러 스튜디오에서 린디합, 발보아, 쉐그를 추며 춤에 빠져 들었습니다. 그녀는 미국과 유럽 전역에서 강사로 활동 중이며, ILHC, 캠프 헐리우드, 핫 리듬 홀리데이와 같은 대회에서 다수의 상을 수상했습니다. 그레이스는 또한 댄서들이 음악과 역사, 그리고 서로 연결될 수 있도록 영감을 주는 인기 DJ이기도 합니다.

▶️ Blake & Grace
As Southern California college students, both Blake and Grace discovered swing dancing at their respective universities and were instantly hooked. With SoCal’s rich history and dozens of the world’s best dancers and instructors, they developed a relentless obsession for Lindy, Balboa, and Collegiate Shag, and regularly social danced up to five nights a week.  Both together and with other partners, they have won a variety of national and international competitions including ILHC, Camp Hollywood, California Balboa Classic, Hot Rhythm Holiday, and Camp Jitterbug. Blake and Grace share a deep reverence for history of the dance and music, especially the original dancers from Southern California, and often teach classes that focus on particular styles and techniques they used. As instructors, they emphasize beautiful basics, the joy of connected partnered movement, and how to connect the dance to the music.
